Broaches and push broaches are made of various materials
High speed steel HSS M-2, M-35 or M-42
PM high-speed powder metallurgical steels from company Erasteel ASP 2023, 2030 and from company Böhler S390
Additionally, if the required broaches are coated with the most popular and durable coatings, including TiN, AlTiN (Futura Nano Top), Alcrona Pro and others (from Oerlikon Balzers).
Depending on the tolerances, the rake surface of the tooth after coating may or may not be sharpened prior to delivery.
Shanks (ends) of the broaches are selected according to the available tooling in the broaching machine owned by our customers.
It is possible to manufacture shanks according to standard DIN norms or according to your guidelines.
